Winter in Japan x Leica.

So, this was a dream commission – a week of winter traveling around Japan for Leica. Tokyo to Kyoto to Hongü to Koyasan to Naoshima but mainly just fascinated by nature, interconnection and interdependence. Maybe finding or recognising myself in a tree trunk or a wave on a beach is my way of getting closer to this (a photograph always finds itself somewhere between a love letter and a self portrait). This may or may not be part of bigger body of work. We’ll see. 🙂
